The Product Tracker now has some added functionality for organizing and grouping like items together for an easier workflow.
This new grouping style will not only allow you to sort your products in a more effective way, but it also allows you to see a roll-up of the metrics for all of the products in the group.
You can also search for products that have already been added to your existing groups, just enter the ASIN in the search box and the system will display the result and show you the group where it is being tracked:
If there are no results the system will ask if you want to add that ASIN to your Tracker. Click on the orange Track Product button and on the window that opens, select the group you want to add it to and the marketplace, then select Add a Product:
To create a new group from a scratch, click on the + sign here:
This will show you a pop-up with two steps, the first one is to choose your market from the drop-down menu:
Click on Next and you will be taken to Step #2 where you can Name your Group. The naming of it should be the keyword or words you will be adding items for:
Item suggestions will populate for you to select some or all of these as needed to add them to your Product Tracker.
After you have created your group (with or without suggested products) you can add individual ASINs by entering them in the 'Add Product' field.
You can now also use the 'Recommend Products' button which will use the name of your group in conjunction with the products you are already tracking in that group to give you more products that share keywords. This will help you find other products to add to the group and track.
If you need to change the name of the group use the pencil icon next to the group name here:
There is also an 'Ungrouped' tab which will be for any products you have added to be tracked but have not included in one of your other groupings.
You can use the 'Ungrouped' category for one-off items or you can move the items on this tab into their own groupings later.
To move an item to a different group or to rearrange the order of the items on the page, use the three dots to the left of the product image and drag it where you would like it to go:
You can also move several products at once by selecting them with a check mark in the box to the left of the product picture.
Then select the group you would like to move them to:
