We know that having a robust list with the most relevant keywords for your product will be crucial when you are ready to start crafting your Amazon listing. With Listing Builder you can create a draft of your Amazon listing and get ready to launch or optimize your product in Seller Central.
It's important to note that you need to have Keyword lists created on your My Lists tab to be able to use Listing Builder. If you don't have any lists, you will see the option to create a new one using Keyword Scout. You can find more information about it in our Can I use Listing Builder if I don't have any saved Lists yet? article.
When you are ready, click Create a New Listing button at the top-right corner. There, select a list from the drop-down menu and click the Next button:
A window will pop up where you can start building your listing. On the left-hand side, you will see all the Keywords that have been added to the list you selected. These will include two other columns with an Ease to Rank score and Search Volume to help you prioritize them.
If you want to sort the results on the list, you can click on of the header of the column you want to focus on and sort the results in ascending or descending order:
Here is a quick overview of the header sorting options:
- Keyword: This view sorts all the keywords on the list by alphabetical order.
- Ease to Rank: This indicates this keyword's ranking potential. The higher the score the easier it will be to rank with that keyword.
- Search Volume: It shows the Exact Match Search Volume for that keyword and again, the higher the volume the better.
You can also sort by List Mode, you will see this option when you click on the blue icon next to the list title. As you use the keywords from your list, these will appear crossed out so you know which ones have been added and which remain. This option will allow you to choose if you want to 'View all keywords' (used or not) or sort to bring the 'Unused' ones to the top.
You can also use the Clean up button to separate them:
Right next to it, you have the Content Creator. Here you can start working on the fields that will be displayed adding keywords to your title, the features, description, etc.
When you are ready to list it, you can copy the text added to those fields and paste it on your Amazon listing. You can find more details about these fields and how to use them in our How to create your Amazon listing in Seller Central using Listing Builder article.
If you want a sneak peak at what it will look like, hit the Preview button you will see a draft view of your listing content in the Amazon format.
Please note no pictures or price can be added just in Listing Builder, this is a way to prepare and visualize your content to have it organized and optimized for when you are ready to launch.
When you are finished click Save your progress until you are ready to create this listing in Seller Central.
