The Supplier Database has data for goods imported to the US only but it can be used to find a supplier to import to any country. The data in the database includes ALL products imported to the US and is not limited to only products sold on Amazon. The data in the Supplier Database goes back to 2014 and is updated monthly.
While the data itself is for imports to the US, you will be able to use the information if you are looking to import to another country. The US is the largest importer of goods in the world which means there is a lot of data available that we can use to find top suppliers. The goal is to find a reputable supplier, and the US import data will do that for you. If a supplier is importing to the US, chances are they have a global presence and will ship to your country as well.
You can filter the results by export country or country of origin. Other sourcing sites are very location specific as to where the goods are manufactured, but since the Supplier Database is import driven rather than export-driven, you will be able to find suppliers in many countries around the world.
You can use this to your advantage in several ways. You could filter the suppliers to countries located within a closer distance to the country you need the goods to go, which would cut down on shipping charges. You could also exclude countries that may have higher duty rates associated with them, to cut down on import charges.
To filter the export country use the Country Of Origin filter when searching by Product or Supplier:
