Those badges are extra verification steps a shopper did or did not take to verify their accounts.
So even though you can't see any information about the person requesting the discount (due to Amazon's terms and review policy), you can use these badges to decide which requests you want to approve manually!
Requests with badges mean the Shopper is not a bot, so we suggest considering to only approve requests from people who have both badges. It shows the shopper is more engaged and have verified their profile, some sellers might feel different about this so that is entirely up to you.
And the two badges you might see for shoppers are:
The SMS Text Verification Badge, which proves they are not a robot, through our SMS text messaging system. The purpose of this is to ensure that they do not have multiple accounts and that they are an actual person.
The Verified Login With Amazon Badge is earned when shoppers login to a verified Amazon profile while using Jungle Scout. Although we are not tracking information from their accounts, the system will only allow one Amazon account to be verified per Jungle Scout profile and once an account is linked, it cannot be used by anyone else.
If you see no badges beside a buyer's request, it just means the shopper didn't complete the verification yet or maybe their account is very new.
