There is nothing you HAVE to do before the migration of your account data to Jungle Scout but there are a few things that may make the transition it easier.
All of these can be done after the migration too but if you'd like to get a head start here are the things you can do now:
1. If you have a Jungle Scout account make sure you are using the same login email address for both apps -
This will allow us to match up your accounts and automatically move all of your Jump Send data to your Jungle Scout account.
You can change either email address to match the other and you can do so by visiting your account settings inside Jungle Scout and Jump Send.
In Jump Send, go to "My Account" and in the first section "Account Profile" you will find your login email address. You can check to make sure it matches your Jungle Scout email address and change it if needed:
In Jungle Scout, go to "Settings" and then "Account Information". Here you can check to make sure it is the same as your Jump Send email address or change your email address if needed:
If the email addresses do not match, no worries! You can always contact support at firstname.lastname@example.org and request the data be merged afterward. Please provide the login email addresses for both apps in your request.
2. Name each of your Amazon accounts in Jump Send -
In Launch, Email Campaigns will be created and managed at the marketplace level instead of at the account level like they currently are in Jump Send.
This will allow you to further personalize your emails to buyers based on their location and language.
Because of this, you will need to name each of your Amazon accounts if you have more than one connected so you will know which one is selected.
You can proactively name each account in your account settings in Jump Send now and that data will be moved over automatically to Jungle Scout.
You will also be able to name your accounts after the migration in Jungle Scout from your account settings.
To name Amazon accounts in Jump Send now go to "My Account" and then scroll to the bottom to find the "API Key" section and click "Update".
This will bring up a pop-up screen where you can edit and add a name for your account.
You can do this for each account you have connected to Jump Send.
Now when your data is migrated to Jungle Scout all of your accounts will be named and easily differentiated.
