FBA Inbound Shipping
This is the cost of sending your goods from a storage location (your home, warehouse, or 3rd party facility) directly to an Amazon Fulfillment Center using Amazon’s freight forwarding services. These costs are automatically pulled from your Seller Central account and will be displayed under the FBA Inbound Shipping section in Jungle Scout's Other Transactions tab.
This section will be blank for users who do not use reshipping services.
Sellers who are using Amazon's partnered carrier to ship their stock to Amazon's warehouse will see their shipment details in the FBA Inbound Shipping tab. This information will be pulled from Seller Central automatically after the Seller Central account is connected with Jungle Scout:
Supplier Shipping
This is the shipping cost to get your item from its origin (most likely your manufacturer or distributor) to your storage location (your home, warehouse, or 3rd party facility). To calculate expenses, you’ll need to manually add this information in the Product Costs & Settings section.
💡 Please enter the Shipping Cost per Unit. For example, if you shipped 1000 fidget spinners from China to Los Angeles for $2,000, the shipping cost per unit is $2 ($2,000 total/1000 units= $2 per unit)
Cost of Goods (COGs)
This is the cost of labor and materials to produce your product. To calculate expenses, you’ll need to enter the Cost of Goods per Unit in the Product Costs & Settings section.
For example, if you bought 1000 fidget spinners from a supplier in China for $5,000, the Cost of Goods per unit is $5 ($5,000 total/1000 units = $5 per unit)
