Advertising Analytics offers you PPC metrics from both Seller Central and Campaign Manager to help you analyze and understand the impact your advertising is having at a company level.
Depending on your plan, you can access this feature after you sync Jungle Scout & Amazon accounts and enter in costs within your Product Settings
Feature Breakdown by Plan
- Basic → Access Advertising Analytics by upgrading to a Suite or Professional plan. For assistance, reach out to support@junglescout.com.
- Suite and Professional → Core functionality is included with your purchase!
Activation
- Access Advertising Analytics under → Advertising from the left-hand navigation panel
- Once you've connected your Jungle Scout & Amazon accounts, start by entering your costs under Product Settings so the charts can begin to populate your metrics
- If you have multiple Seller Central accounts connected to different marketplaces, you can view this feature by selecting each of those stores. Just click the marketplace dropdown next to your avatar, select the relevant store, and navigate to Advertising Analytics.
Overview
The Overview tab provides quick insights into how well your ads are performing and where your money is being spent; it also shows your sales ratio between sponsored and organic sales to ensure you're always aligned with your PPC goals. You’ll see four main areas within this dashboard.
Widgets
The eight widgets give you a high-level overview of PPC metrics related to your company’s paid ad performance. Widgets are available for the following metrics:
- Impressions
- Clicks
- Total Ad Cost of Sales (TACoS)
- Total Ad Spend
- Total Ad Sales
- Advertising Cost of Sale (ACoS)
- Click-Through Rate (CTR)
- Conversion
Click “+” to add as many widgets as you’d like. Alternatively, by clicking theon the top-right of each card, you’ll be able to remove a specific metric.

Waterfall
The company-wide waterfall chart provides a detailed breakdown of your Sales (sponsored & organic), Costs, and Net Profit. This chart helps you fully understand the profitability of your ads and where your money is being spent.
Widgets are available for the following:
- Organic Sales
- Ad Sales
- Other Order Revenue
- Ad Spend
- COGS
- Amazon Fees
- Other Fees
- NET Profit
You can view metrics from a specific period using the date-range selector at the top-right corner. Choose from either a date range or specific dates.
To see how each metric is calculated, hover over each bar to show the date range, amount, and more information.
Total Sales
The Total Sales chart is designed to help you understand your sales ratio between organic and sponsored sales. This helps you keep a pulse on your overall sales ratio, allowing you to make informed business decisions when things swing too far to one side.
Hovering over each bar will give you a specific monetary breakdown of your sales for the timeframe you are looking at. You can view metrics from a specific period using the date-range selector at the top-right corner.
At the bottom of the chart, you can drill down further by looking at daily, weekly, or monthly sales.
Top Products
This will show your top-performing products based on the filter you choose. Available filters include Ad Sales, Ad Spend, Gross Profit, and NET Margin.
Sales Activity
The Sales Activity tab allows you to analyze the performance of product campaigns at an ASIN level.
What is my NET profit?
Leveraging the same style chart from the Overview, you can analyze revenue, costs, and NET profit after selecting a specific ASIN from the dropdown. This will help you identify ways to lower advertising costs.

Impact of Advertising Costs vs. Metrics
Measure Advertising Costs against your total Sales, ACoS, and TACoS to see the results of your advertising strategy and the impact you are having on an ASIN’s performance.
Select which metric you want to look at using the widget on the top-left of the chart.
Use this chart to track and monitor how changes to Ad costs affect key metrics used to determine campaign profitability. This can help you understand the impact of your advertising on Amazon, allowing you to make data-driven decisions.
