Once you add products to the Keyword Rank Tracker, you will find the table that will let you analyze and compare historical keyword ranking performance. You can sort the keywords by Overall, Organic, and Sponsored Rank.
TIP❗You can use the heatmap to easily find the best performing keywords! The more intense the colour, the higher the ranking for the keyword
Also, when you see an "S" sign in a cell (when you set the filter to Overall rank), this means that the Rank Tracker captured the sponsored rank information for this keyword.
In this section, you'll also see information for all the keywords you are tracking for the selected product.
This is a list of the columns you'll see in the table:
- Search Volume (Exact): This is the number of times this exact keyword has been searched for on Amazon (does not include any plurals or misspellings)
- Search Volume (Broad): The number of Amazon searches over the past month that broadly match the keyword, including the phrase, plurals, misspellings or synonyms.
- Search Volume - Trend: Keyword Search Volume trend over the last 30 days.
- Rank Trend - 30 day: The rank trend over the last 30 days
- In Listing: When you see a green check mark, this means the keyword is added to a product's listing. If you see 'Partial' status, this means that the exact keyword/phrase is not included in the listing, but some of the keywords are. Whenever the status shows "Not in listing", this means that the keyword/phrase is not in the listing at all.
- Search Volume - 30-day broad: The number of Amazon searches over the past month that broadly match the keyword, including the phrase, plurals, misspellings or synonyms.
- Search Trend - 30 day: Keyword Search Volume trend over the last 30 days.
- Search Trend - 90 day: Keyword search volume over the last 90 days vs. the prior 90 days.
- Ease to Rank: How easy it is for a new product to rank for this keyword. It is measured when collecting data for a specific keyword. We take a snapshot of the 50-100 products we get from this data and assess the number of times the keyword shows up in the title of those products. The less it shows up, the ease to rank is higher or better; the more it shows up, the ease to rank is lower or worse.
- PPC Bid - Exact: The estimated median cost of an exact match PPC ad.
- PPC Bid - Broad: The estimated median cost of a broad match PPC ad.
- Last Checked: This tells you when the data was last collected (the last time Amazon sent us information). Since keyword rankings and BSR can change several times throughout the day, from time to time it is possible to spot small differences when comparing the information in the Rank Tracker with the current rankings on Amazon. This will help you understand when the last update took place so you can reconcile the data more easily.
